Honoring our fallen heroes, step by step

To honor our fallen Special Operations warriors and to raise money for the Special Operations Warrior Foundation, sixteen Air Commandos are ruck marching from Hurlburt Field, FL to Tampa, FL.  The march will kick off on February 12 at Hurlburt Field, FL, home of Air Force Special Operations Command and end February 18, in Tampa, FL, home of the United States Special Operations Command.

Our route will take us along Route 20 through Niceville, Freeport, Blountstown, Bristol, Hosford; then 267 to Hillardville & Newport; then Route 98 to Hampton Springs & Perry; turning onto Route 19 towards Cross City, Fanning Springs, Chiefland, Otter Creek, Inglis, Crystal River, Homosassa Springs. Our second to last leg takes us on Highway 41 passing through Brooksville, Masaryktown, Wilson Heights, Trojantown, and finally into Tampa via US 92.

Donations raised will go towards the Special Operations Warrior Foundation scholarship fund. This fund allows children of fallen Special Operations personnel to attend college and honors the memory of those that have paid the ultimate sacrifice for our country.
